Biography Daphne Bloomer is determined to journey through this industry with integrity, humor and grace. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, in the town of Forest Park, she has been an entertainer from an early age. Being the baby of six children, it was necessary to be creative in ways to catch and keep the spotlight as well as conjure up stories to get her four older brothers in trouble. Little did she know that her personal creative life at home had a professional name called acting. Daphne had her first taste of acting at Monroney Junior High School when she performed in plays, How to Eat Like a Child and Luann and she continued throughout high school and into college. Two weeks into her freshman year at the University of Oklahoma, Daphne threw caution to the wind and made the move from Oklahoma to Los Angeles and decided to pursue a degree in theatre at UCLA. Upon graduating from UCLA, her first professional acting job was a commercial for Kohl's. This was followed by other commercials, loads of theatre and guest stints on TV shows such as 24, Crossing Jordan, Strong Medicine and General Hospital. For now, she is best known for her four year recurring role on Days of our Lives as Eugenia Willens, a role that was initially meant for only two days. Apparently God had other plans and now she can be seen scheming, blackmailing and stirring up trouble on a regular basis. You can also look for Daphne in the upcoming film currently titled Who Made the Potato Salad? with Eddie Griffin and Clifton Powell. Having firmly planted herself in Los Angeles, Daphne is dedicated to further developing her talents through diligent study and training. She is serious about her craft and wants to be a steadily working actress in TV and film. “I have tried to do other things to have stability and peace of mind, but I have no peace unless I'm here, doing what I feel called to do. I'm so grateful that this is my life.” When she‘s not working, Daphne enjoys connecting with friends, cooking, country music and fishing. As they say, you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl.
